Many famous films have been shot in Budapest. The old houses and other landmark buildings make the Hungarian capital very popular for film companies. For Budapest residents, it is perfectly normal to see Johnny Depp or other celebrities walking the streets. Many films have been made that feature Budapest as itself and there are films in which Budapest "plays" some other city, such as Paris or Berlin. Here are some examples:
