How to travel by public transport in Budapest

Budapest is quite good in terms of transport: it is easy to get around the city centre and important sights by tram, bus or metro. The stations are usually signposted in English and the BKK (Budapest Transport Centre) app BKK FUTÁR is also very useful.

You can also use Google Maps to see the transport options.

For tourists I usually offer 3 types of tickets:

It entitles you not only to transport, but also to museum, restaurant, spa admission or dis

BUDAPEST CARD (TRANSPORT ONLY) : 24 or 72 hours

It allows you to use all means of transport.
